Send money to Lebanon
Lebanon is compared here from 5 sending markets — the USA, Canada, Australia, the UAE and France. Recipients are paid in Lebanese pound (LBP), usually by cash pickup and mobile wallets such as Whish — deliberately bypassing banks.
Bank deposit is often the worst option in Lebanon rather than the best: pre-2019 deposits remain effectively frozen, and most remittances are collected as cash or through a wallet instead.

Providers that reach Lebanon
Each name links to that provider's own page: every corridor it appears on, and every one it is documented as not serving.
Checked and not available
- Revolut from the USA — Revolut lists Lebanon among the countries it does not support for outbound transfers.
- Wise from the USA — Wise cannot send Lebanese pounds from the US. It offers only a US dollar wire to a Lebanese bank account — which, given the state of Lebanon's banking system, is usually the least useful way to send money there.
- Instarem from the UAE — publishes UAE pages only for money sent into the UAE, with no send-from product page
- Wise from the UAE — the UAE is not on its published list of send-from countries; the dirham appears only as a receive currency within the UAE
- WorldRemit from the UAE — the UAE is not among the supported sending countries on its Middle East send-from page
- Xoom from the UAE — publishes the UAE only as a receiving country
- Wise from France — Wise's own corridor page for this route states plainly that it is still working on enabling LBP transfers to Lebanon from France and is not there yet. No Wise row is published here for that reason.
