Remit Architect is free to use and carries no advertising. It is funded by affiliate commission. This page explains exactly how that works, because you should be able to judge our comparisons knowing how we are paid.
How we earn
When you follow a link from this site to a money transfer provider and go on to complete a transfer, that provider may pay us a referral commission. It costs you nothing — the price you pay is the provider's normal price, and we receive no share of your transfer fee or exchange-rate margin.
We do not take payment from providers in exchange for coverage, placement, ratings, or favourable wording. There is no paid inclusion and no paid removal.
Not every provider pays us
Affiliate programmes do not exist for every service we compare, and some providers we consider strong on a given corridor pay us nothing at all. They are listed anyway, on the same terms as everyone else, and they can and do appear above providers that do pay us.
This means our tables routinely recommend options we earn nothing from. That is the intended outcome of ranking on the criteria in our methodology rather than on commercial terms.
How commissioned links are marked
- Outbound links to providers are marked with rel="sponsored" in the page code, the standard signal for a commercial link.
- Every corridor page carries a disclosure in its footer stating that we may earn a commission.
- Commission rates differ between providers. We do not rank, sort, or badge by that rate, and the code that orders the table has no access to it.
Why we publish this
A comparison site that hides its funding is asking to be trusted on faith. We would rather you knew the incentive, saw the rules we apply against it, and judged the tables on whether they hold up.
