How We Verify Our Data
Remit Architect’s comparisons are built on a documented research process, not assumptions. This page explains exactly how we choose providers, verify pricing, and keep corridor data current.
Provider inclusion is verified per corridor, not assumed
We don’t inherit a provider list from a similar corridor or a neighboring country. Before a provider appears in any corridor’s comparison, we independently confirm two things: that it supports sending from that specific origin country, and that it supports that specific destination. A provider can pass one check and fail the other — brand recognition isn’t proof of support for a specific route.
Payout methods are named, not guessed
Where a provider’s support for a local payment rail — a mobile wallet, an instant payment network, a specific bank partner — is confirmed by that provider’s own documentation, we name it specifically. Where it isn’t confirmed, we default to the verifiable baseline (bank deposit) rather than guess. A plain, accurate answer beats an impressive-sounding one we can’t stand behind.
Pricing reflects what we last checked, not a permanent promise
Fees, exchange rates, and promotions change, sometimes without notice. Every comparison table reflects rates and fees as reviewed on the date shown on that page, not a static guarantee. Published corridors are rechecked on a recurring cycle — we would rather flag something as due for a recheck than leave stale numbers presented as current.
We verify what a real visitor actually sees
A comparison table that looks complete in our own editor but renders empty for an actual visitor is a failure we take as seriously as a wrong number. Before a corridor page is considered verified, we confirm the comparison table itself — not just provider names elsewhere on the page — is present in what an anonymous visitor’s browser actually receives.
Editorial independence
Remit Architect currently links directly to each provider’s own site. We are not paid to rank or feature any provider above another. If that changes in the future, it will be disclosed clearly on any page where it applies — not buried in fine print.
