Remit Architect is a comparison site. You do not need an account to use it, and we never handle your money, so there is far less to say here than on most financial websites.
What we do not collect
- We do not ask for or store your name, address, date of birth, or government identification.
- We do not collect bank account, card, or payment details. We never take a payment and never move money.
- We do not have user accounts or logins, so there are no credentials to store or leak.
- The amount you type into a currency calculator on this site stays in your browser. It is not transmitted to us or saved.
What is collected automatically
Like almost every website, our hosting provider processes standard technical information needed to serve pages and keep the site secure — including your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request. We use aggregate analytics to understand which pages are useful and where the site is failing readers.
We use this only to operate and improve the site. We do not sell it, and we do not build advertising profiles from it.
When you follow a link to a provider
Links to money transfer providers are affiliate links. Following one may pass a referral identifier to that provider so they can attribute the referral to us, and the provider may set its own cookies once you arrive.
From that point you are on the provider's website and their privacy policy governs what happens next, including anything you enter during signup or a transfer. We have no access to your account with them and no visibility of your transactions.
Cookies
We use only what is needed to make the site work and to measure aggregate usage. We do not run advertising networks or retargeting pixels on this site. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the comparison tables and calculators will continue to work.
Your rights and contacting us
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or object to certain processing. Because we do not operate accounts, in most cases we hold nothing that identifies you personally.
